Code of Conduct

We want a lot of people to participate. We want to provide a safe place.

For this purpose, we have prepared the following policy.

Rust.Tokyo aims to be an event where everyone can participate without being harassed. Harassment in any form is unacceptable. If this rule is violated, sanctions may be imposed or access may be prohibited from the conference at the discretion of the organizer.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to, the following

  • Offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion (or lack thereof).
  • Sexual images in public spaces.
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, following.
  • Harassing photography or recording.
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
  • Inappropriate physical contact.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If you witness harassment or suffer damage, please tell conference staff immediately. Conference staff can tell by the name tag.
